FAKE ENGINEER EXPOSED, ARRESTED AND CHARGED

Unlawfully intending to defraud while

armed with alleged fake Engineers board

of Kenya Certificate of good standing .

Purporting to be Eng. Akoko Franklin

Onyango from the Engineers board of

Kenya .

The accused Franklin Akoko Onyango was

arrested on Wednesday 11th by the

Directorate of Criminal Investigations

Detectives after a complain was

reported at Nairobi Area DCI , and

detained at Kilimani Police Station

Nairobi County Kenya.

Where he was processed and arraigned in

Court on Friday 13th before Nairobi’s

Senior Principal Magistrate Caroline

Muthoni Njagi at Milimani Law Court and

charged with several counts of making

a document without authority contrary

to section 357 ( a) of the penal code .

The accused Franklin Akoko Onyango was

charged with five counts of making a

document without authority and pleaded

not guilty , the State Prosecution did

not object to the accused being

released on bond but urged the court to

issue stiffer penalty and to ensure

the accused will attend court

proceedings .

The State Prosecutor informed the Court

that the accused made several

documents namely , Water Resource

Authority an authorization permit for

borehole drilling for a school in

HomaBay County , National Environment

Authority Receipt of 25, 000. ksh being

payment of proposed borehole, NEMA

letter of project approval and National

Construction Authority Certificate of

Registration Fastech green system Ltd

all purporting to be genuine documents.

The State prosecutor intend to call

several witnesses to testify against

the alleged intended fraud during the

trial as the accused was remanded at

Nairobi Industrial Area Prison .
