INVESCO ASSURANCE RESUMES OPERATIONS

High Court ordered Invesco Insurance to

resume it operations immediately.

Justice Alfred Mabeya suspended the

decision by the commissioner of

Insurance Godfrey Kiptum pending ruling.

The commissioner escaped to be sent to

jail by a whisker after judge suspended

the contempt proceedings until court

hears his explanation on why he

disobeyed court orders.

closing the operations of the insurance

company suspended by Justice Alfred

Mabeya.

The insurance company requested for

orders alleging to the court that

several Public Service Vehicles are

parked as a result of the Regulator’s

decision.

Godfrey Kiptum was summoned to appear

before court on Tuesday 28th after

allegations were made that he relied on

court order that was not proper to close

insurance company.

The Commissioner of Insurance and Chief

executive Officer is alleged to have

caused a financial damage resulting to

lose of huge sums of money by placing

Invesco Assurance company Limited under

liquidation , through a suspicious

manufactured decree of court dated

06th of February 2023 alleging to have

been issued by the High Court.

The hearing of the ongoing commercial

dispute between the regulator and the

insurance company , where in alleged

purported order by the commissioner

stopped the Invesco Assurance company

Limited from issuing insurance policies

to its clients and to further refrain

from signing new insurance contracts

will proceed on 06th March at 1pm.
