As the World goes digital in entire operations,
the National Police Service of Kenya is also
initiating the digital platform in their daily
operations with a recent launch of digitalising
the popular OB (occurrence book) which is set
to be initiated in all Police Stations
Countrywide.
The Occurrence Book (OB), is a book used to
record daily complaints in all Police Stations
where the public, accused, accusers and the
authorities can refer on recorded issues for
possible actions and even the entire public can
also follow the ongoings at the Country Police
Stations, transparency restored in line to the
Country New Constitution.

Stationed at Nairobi Kasarani Police Station,
Nairobi County is excited to be part of the
pioneers in initiating and launching the historic
transformation from analogue Officers to
Digital generations.
Where the Country Cabinet Secretary for
Internal Security and National Coordination Dr.
Fred Matiangi together with his Counter part
from the ICT Hon. Joe Mucheru accompanied
by the Inspector General of National Police
Service Hillary Mutyambai, the Deputy Inspector
General were hosted by the OCPD and OCS of
Buru Buru Police Station Nairobi County during
the launch of the digitalisation of the Country
famous Occurrence Book (OB).
As one of the Pioneers, the youthful Officer with
the rank of CPL, were eradicating the traditional
notion of unprofessional conduct and weeding
out the malpractice of a few rotten potatoes
within the discipline men and women of honour
in line to offering speedy, quality services and
transparency within the National Police service.
Apart from her ever smiling, humble and always
smartly dressed Officer the true Ambassador of
the Kenya National Police Service, Ivy Wangila
immediately after Joining the Country Police
Training Institution famously known as Kiganjo
training college, due to her courage and
leadership qualities, she was chosen to be the
overall squad leader for the entire nine months
of training.
Leaders instill in their hardworking colleagues a
hope for success and to belief in themselves
while empowering them to accomplish their
goals.
Within three years, Ivy Wangila was awarded a
promotion on merit to the rank of Corporal by
the Country National Police Service Inspector
General Hillary Mutyambai after being one of
the National Police Service Initiators of Digital
Occurrence Book (OB) .
Where the Country National Police Service has
no option but to keep pace with the Global
evolution of crime, as they strive to provide the
first-class service to the Citizens of Kenya.
Youthful Officer Ivy Wangila advises the
young generations and the future leaders in the
Country to stay away from drugs, crime and
they should work hard towards archiving their
valid dreams.
Driven by passion, her happiness is to see
Citizens satisfied by the services offered by the
National Police service of Kenya.
