A big win and sign of relief to
Linda Ugatuzi organization President
Prof. Fred Ogolla after the high court
granted his prayers of stopping the
activities of hustler fund newly
appointed board members.
The High Court has issued a conservatory
orders stopping the newly appointed
hustler board members from operating or
being sworn in office until a ruling is
delivered.
As the Country President the initiator
of hustler fund during a function within
the Capital City informed the country
that he will soon increase the hustler
credit limit.
In the orders issued by the High Court,
the newly appointed hustler fund board
members stand suspended, the board has
been restrained from assigning
themselves any duties, the assumption of
the office by the board also suspended
and the court also stopped the intended
swearing inn of the board members until
the matter before it is heard and a
ruling is delivered.
The President while speaking during the
50th anniversary celebrations of the
Kenya Police Sacco within Nairobi County
,made the announcement before the High
Court issued the said orders.
Linda Ugatuzi filed the application
before High Court in early December
year 2022 seeking orders to stop the
newly appointed hustler board members
from executing their duties.
In their application before court they
argued that the said board was formed
after the project was officially
launched which was a breach of the
law.
” Regulations act 14 (1) was breached,
as Kenyans are yet to be told which
bank authorizes such savings and how it
was arrived at” Prof. Ogolla stressed in
the application.
Linda Ugatuzi organization President
informed Lady Justice Monica Mbaru that
the President chief patron of the
project has no physical office nor
entity.
Prof. Fred Ogolla failed to understand
why innocent Kenyans applying for loans
were being asked for their personal
details, like the pin number.
The applicant in several of their
prayers stressed that the Country
National Assembly failed to approve the
ruling party coalition Kenya Kwanza
hustler fund project rendering it
illegal.
“The hustler fund must be created
through the act of Parliament and must
be enshrined in the Country National
budget” Prof. Ogolla said.
The applicants urged innocent creditors
to continue applying for hustler fund
loans and they should not be in a hurry
to pay the loan until the matter before
high court is heard and determined.
