The project is an initiative under the Muslim Media Company whose aim, is to recognize and celebrate key Muslims faithfuls doing exemplary work in various fields.

The ceremony, which is the first to ever have happened in Kenya, was held on Saturday in Mombasa County Kenya .

And Nazlin Umar was amongst the 100 Kenyan Muslims that were awarded under the category of Leadership (Law & governance) and Social Enterprise & philanthropy, the only leader recognised in 2 categories.

“Honourable Nazlin Umar is a woman leader in East and Central Africa who has inspired many young aspiring leaders in the entire African Continent .

Being the only Muslim woman to ever have vied for presidency in Kenya.

And defending human rights having being acclaimed globally for the great projects she initiated, made the jurists to nominate and second her,” said Suleiman Ndoro Jnr (Dr Audi), the Founder and CEO of The Muslim Media Company.

The Muslim Media Company is a start-up initiative based in Mombasa whose primary goal is to celebrate and empower Muslims Faithfuls Nationally .
