prisons, after the State Prosecutor Senior Nancy Kerubo’s prayers

were granted by Kibera Senior Principal Magistrate Esther Boke.
During the mention of  sex offence a serious criminal case, where

Faith Washiali Bwibo Daughter of a prominent politician in Kenya

and her boyfriend Abdirazak Adan Abdullahi who is also alleged to

be related to a former Country National Assembly Majority Leader,

will remain again in remand prison for three weeks after the Court

was informed that the State is preparing to prefer more charges

against the accused after several complainants recorded statements

at Langata Police Station Nairobi County Kenya, over the similar

incident where the accused were charged with.
The accused were arraigned at Nairobi Kibera Law Courts on April

09th year 2021 early morning hours East Africa Time, where they

were charged with several counts of sex trafficking and pleaded not

guilty to all counts.
The State in their oral application submitted before the lower

criminal court, objected to the two accused being released on bond

or cash bail insisting that the witnesses who are very vulnerable

and a key to the ongoing serious sex offence case which attract a

maximum sentence of thirty years imprisonment, must testify and

be protected from the accused by the State through witness

protection act.
The Trial Senior Principal Magistrate Esther Boke in her lengthy

ruling after both the defence and the State submissions, denied the

two bail or bond pending the hearing of the matter which has

attracted public interest with the trial scheduled on 07th July year

2021.
During the mention of the case on Tuesday 20th April for a pretrial

which failed to kick off, only for the State requesting the trial Court

to defer it and give directions on May 11th, when they will be

preferring new charges against the accused after receiving more

information on the ongoing criminal case, was allowed and the

accused through their officers of the court requested to be allowed

to access their mobile phones, a requested which was turned down

after the State informed the Court that the forensic report is yet to

be tabled before the trial court.
The sex trafficking offence is a serious offence in the Country and

attracts a hash penalty and if the two accused are released on cash

bail or bond, there is a likely hood of interference with the ongoing

case, intimidation of key witnesses who are currently traumatised

and under the care of counsellors, after some of them escaped death

narrowly while allegedly being threatened at gun point.
The offence was committed within Nairobi County at South C

Mugoya Estate, where it was alleged that the two accused lured

under age college girls to the home of a suspected serial rapist.
The underage girls were invited for a fun filled parties at South C

Estate Nairobi County only for some of the sharp intelligent girls to

realise that the party was to satisfy their old and middle aged male

friends sexual needs.
It is alleged that Faith Washiali Bwibo unlawfully, intentionally and

knowingly transported underage college students for sexual

exploitation by means of deception.
While her co accused Abdullahi committed an indecent act  by

touching the girls breasts, also maliciously damaged properties, the

victims expensive mobile phones.
The trial courts was also informed that the second accused Faith

Washiali Bwibo made a phone call inviting the college girls for a

party in the evening at the said Estate.

It is at the famous Carnivore Simba salon joint Nairobi County

where the girls met the first accused Abdullahi and later were

escorted to the first accused House where they were allegedly raped

and assaulted, as some of them who resisted the beastly act were

threatened with death and allegedly driven to the outskirts of

Naivasha Town within Nakuru County Kenya and mercilessly left in

the wilderness to silence them.
It is also alleged that the first accused Abdirazak Abdullahi sent

emissaries to convince the victims to drop the charges in exchange

for money.
