KENYAN MP’S DAUGHTER AND BOYFRIEND TO STAY LONGER IN REMAND PRISON.

The Daughter of a prominent personality in the Country and her
boyfriend from a rich family to stay longer in remand Kenyan
prisons, after the State Prosecutor Senior Nancy Kerubo’s prayers
were granted by Kibera Senior Principal Magistrate Esther Boke.
During the mention of sex offence a serious criminal case, where
Faith Washiali Bwibo Daughter of a prominent politician in Kenya
and her boyfriend Abdirazak Adan Abdullahi who is also alleged to
be related to a former Country National Assembly Majority Leader,
will remain again in remand prison for three weeks after the Court
was informed that the State is preparing to prefer more charges
against the accused after several complainants recorded statements
at Langata Police Station Nairobi County Kenya, over the similar
incident where the accused were charged with.
The accused were arraigned at Nairobi Kibera Law Courts on April
09th year 2021 early morning hours East Africa Time, where they
were charged with several counts of sex trafficking and pleaded not
guilty to all counts.
The State in their oral application submitted before the lower
criminal court, objected to the two accused being released on bond
or cash bail insisting that the witnesses who are very vulnerable
and a key to the ongoing serious sex offence case which attract a
maximum sentence of thirty years imprisonment, must testify and
be protected from the accused by the State through witness
protection act.
The Trial Senior Principal Magistrate Esther Boke in her lengthy
ruling after both the defence and the State submissions, denied the
two bail or bond pending the hearing of the matter which has
attracted public interest with the trial scheduled on 07th July year
2021.
During the mention of the case on Tuesday 20th April for a pretrial
which failed to kick off, only for the State requesting the trial Court
to defer it and give directions on May 11th, when they will be
preferring new charges against the accused after receiving more
information on the ongoing criminal case, was allowed and the
accused through their officers of the court requested to be allowed
to access their mobile phones, a requested which was turned down
after the State informed the Court that the forensic report is yet to
be tabled before the trial court.
The sex trafficking offence is a serious offence in the Country and
attracts a hash penalty and if the two accused are released on cash
bail or bond, there is a likely hood of interference with the ongoing
case, intimidation of key witnesses who are currently traumatised
and under the care of counsellors, after some of them escaped death
narrowly while allegedly being threatened at gun point.
The offence was committed within Nairobi County at South C
Mugoya Estate, where it was alleged that the two accused lured
under age college girls to the home of a suspected serial rapist.
The underage girls were invited for a fun filled parties at South C
Estate Nairobi County only for some of the sharp intelligent girls to
realise that the party was to satisfy their old and middle aged male
friends sexual needs.
It is alleged that Faith Washiali Bwibo unlawfully, intentionally and
knowingly transported underage college students for sexual
exploitation by means of deception.
While her co accused Abdullahi committed an indecent act by
touching the girls breasts, also maliciously damaged properties, the
victims expensive mobile phones.
The trial courts was also informed that the second accused Faith
Washiali Bwibo made a phone call inviting the college girls for a
party in the evening at the said Estate.
It is at the famous Carnivore Simba salon joint Nairobi County
where the girls met the first accused Abdullahi and later were
escorted to the first accused House where they were allegedly raped
and assaulted, as some of them who resisted the beastly act were
threatened with death and allegedly driven to the outskirts of
Naivasha Town within Nakuru County Kenya and mercilessly left in
the wilderness to silence them.
It is also alleged that the first accused Abdirazak Abdullahi sent
emissaries to convince the victims to drop the charges in exchange
for money.
