PASTOR EZEKIEL WIN ROUND ONE AS HIGH COURT ISSUE STAY ORDER

By Chris Ojow

The high Court has allowed pastor

Ezekiel Odero’s church to continue

operating until the petition he filed

is heard and determined.

New life Prayer Centre and church was

among the six churches recently

deregistered by the registrar of

societies.

Through his team of lawyers led by

Danstan Omari, the petitioner termed

the act as a witch hunt and a scheme to

grab the assets of the New life

prayer Centre and church.

His lawyers Shadrack, Nyaberi ,

Shanice, Martina , Ombeta and Omari

described the High Court decision as a

major Victory for pastor Ezekiel Odero.

The High Court stayed the decision to

deregister the petitioner’s church

pending hearing.

The law states that once an appeal has

been lodged the previous action is no

longer in operation.
