THREE KENYA POLICE OFFICERS TO BE SACKED FOR MISBEHAVING IN PUBLIC

By Chris Ojow

With total disregard to their motto of “Utumishi

kwa wote” service to all, while displaying karate

Hero, jacky Chan and Bruce Lee tactics, the

three disgraced , one female and two male

serving Kenya Police officers and in police

uniform beat up a helpless, innocent motorist

taking the law into their own hands instead of

enforcing the law.

Article 75 of the New Constitution of Kenya

clearly States, on the conduct of State Officers /

public servants that, a State Officer shall

behave, whether in public and official life, in a

private life or in association with other persons,

in a manner that avoids any conflicts between

personal interests and public or official duties,

compromising any public or official interest in

favour of a personal interest or demeaning the

office the officers holds and any State officer

who goes against the said conduct should be

dismissed or otherwise removed from the

office.

The three kenya Police officers disobeyed the

Constitution and the office which they serve as

law enforcers and should be dismissed from

The service in line to the Constitution of the

Republic of Kenya.

The alleged disgraced Officers breached article

75 clause 1, 2, and 3 of the Constitution

including the police criminal penal codes and

traffic offence Act and do not deserve to wear

the Kenya National police service uniform as

they forgot that, it is the same tax payer they

mistreated pay for their monthly salary.

And the three police officers should be barred

from in line to the Constitution article 75 clause

3 from holding public office or being employed

as civil servants in the Kenya.

The incendent which occurred along the busy

Nairobi Nakuru Highway within Nakuru County

was unjustified, where the male motorist

allegedly confronted an Officer to inquire why

he decided to hit his car with stick destroying

the bonnet which resulted to ugly confrontation

With A journalist nursing wounds after being

roughed for filming the incident, a total

disregard to the Press freedom of information

by muzzling the Agent of the people, a member

of the fourth Estate.

IPOA issued a statement to independently

investigate the matter with the police

Spokesperson and department choosing to

burry their head on the sand on a serious

matter that’s raises issues and questions on

Police recruitments qualifications /Kenya

Police much publicised reforms.
