four revelers suspected to have caused the death of their friend

who’s body awaits  postmortem at a City Mortuary.

The four suspects male Nigerian Citizen and three Kenyan youthful

ladies , one of them a mother of two months old baby were arrested

last Friday and arraigned at Milimani Law Court under

miscellaneous application filed  submitted by the State Prosecution,

requesting for more days to detain the suspects as the Directorate of

Criminal Investigations concludes preliminary investigations .

Umar Kabir Kamara , Vera Osebe Omari, Diana Moraa and

Annestine Mamuji Helmut together with other revelers who are

alleged by the State that disappeared in thin air after one of them

died during a party organised in one of the notorious leafy suburb,

Kilimani Estate Nairobi County as  Detectives are now relying on a

Government pathologist report to determine the cause of death.

In a lengthy submission , the  State prosecution informed the duty

Court that there is need to establish the identity of the first

respondent a Nigerian Nationality and the habitats of three

respondents while objecting to the release of suspects , describing

them as flight risks and more likely to interfere with the ongoing

investigations which might hamper their efforts to arrest other

runaway suspects .

The Detectives also managed to secure the CCTV cameras and towed

three luxurious vehicles to Kilimani Police Station Nairobi County .

Responding to the application submitted by the State , the first

respondent Kamara through his Attorney Elkana Mogaka opposed

the State application requesting for identification parade and to

share details with the immigration officials whether the respondent

is lawful or unlawfully in the Country .

Officer of the Court Elkana Mogaka also humbly urged the duty

Court to grant his client request since the State Prosecution

appeared before duty Court without a holding charge and were

contemplating charging alleged innocent revelers with murder who

have no idea on the cause of death to one of their friend also

partying  and were shocked after learning about the sad news.
