Oil Company, OLA Energy announced its
growth expansion plans that seek the
adoption of renewable energy in a bid
to reduce the consumption of fuel.
OLA Energy Chief Operating Officer
Maurizio Libutti said the transition is
a move towards renewable energy
technologies as the best way to supply
environmentally friendly and affordable
energy to all people.
“Cost-effectiveness comes to the
forefront in the renewable energy
development, by producing strategies
that bring out energy saving
mechanisms. This will reshape how
energy markets will function in the
near future,” said Libutti.
OLA Energy Kenya General Manager
Millicent Onyonyi said the company’s
retail footprint now stands at 109
across the country, and is keen on
fostering African born prosperity
geared at wealth creation through its
partnerships with dealers in the retail
network.
The move is part of OLA Energy’s
strategy to give additional value to
customers that positively impact their
spending on fuel while at the same time
lowering polluting emissions into the
environment.
O’ptimium, is made through addition of
performance additives that help clean
car engines hence controlling deposit
build up in critical points of the
engine including inlet
valves/injectors.
Through this innovation, motorists have
a better experience on roads through
increased fuel economy, reduced
corrosion, prevent filter blockage,
better car acceleration, reduced
emissions and greater engine
durability. O’ptimium fuels have been
developed using cutting edge additives
and technologies that are tested in
accredited laboratories in accordance
with international standards.
“We are also keen at leveraging digital
strategies to enable smooth
transactions with our consumers through
the introduction of OLA GO customer
loyalty APP.” said Onyonyi.
The OLA GO App comes after the
introduction of secure and real-time
O’Card used to fuel a vehicle or fleet
and purchase of other products
conveniently, with customized spending
limits and recording of ‘input mileage’
that helps in control of fuel
consumption.
With the current robust growth, Onyonyi
added that the service station will
also comprise a family-oriented
versatile backcourt boasting of premium
service centres, food courts, bank
ATMs, chemists and laundromat, hence
offering the customers unmatched
convenience.
The company launched Kilimani and
Gitaru (Kikuyu) branches. The expansion
network brings proximity to the
customers in a strategic location
adjacent to Yaya Centre and Kikuyu
respectively, fitted with high-speed
pumps for the ultimate fueling
experience together with automotive
lubricants and LPG.
The launch saw customers enjoy ‘happy
hour’ with OLA Energy rewarding them
with bonus fuel worth Ksh. 1,000 for
every purchase of fuel worth Ksh.2,000
at the new Kilimani and Gitaru service
stations.
