It is true that during challenges, that’s when the
mind is always at it’s best creative and
innovative moments in our lifetime.
The ongoing pandemic is here to stay for long
and the sooner we adopt ways to live with it as
we strive to contain it, the better for everyone.
The coronavirus pandemic has permanently
changed the way of life to everyone Globally,
with companies adopting work at home system
but majority embracing digitization.
While in Kenya the pandemic has shuttered the
dreams of several citizens and goals of various
industries.
It has also created a jobless society due to the
health guidelines demanding for strictness in
adherence forcing industries to shut down and
company’s to lay off their workers, as the
struggling ones are forced to cut the payments.
Former Kenyan Judicial Service Commission
(JSC) Member Prof Tom Ojienda through Prof
Tom Ojienda and Associates, who has been
busy attending to his clients needs through
video conferences , is advising officers of the
Court to speedily embrace technology in
delivering services.
Prof Tom Ojienda while attending to his clients
through video conference at his office, strongly
stressed that technology improves the access
to Justice and also it balances the cost
effectiveness to the client side, which has been
created by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic
Globally.
The Former Judges and Magistrates employer
in Kenya further says that, the Lawyers must
adopt the digital system, since that’s the future
and the faster and expeditious way of disposal
of cases Nationally.
The Veteran Popular and Famous Advocate of
the High Court of Kenya informs the public that
digitization of Kenyan Judiciary is durable,
accurate, can be tracked, stored easily,
managed without stress, reproduced, easily
retrieved and recorded.
Digitization has transformed many African
Countries with our Neighbours Tanzanians
Citizens enjoying the efficiency being offered by
the Tanzania Courts.
Worldwide Digital services always brings
services closes to Citizens and the end results
is always efficient, transparent and effective.
The World Health Organisation has repeatedly
announced that the deadly coronavirus
pandemic is here to stay with us Globally for
long and the sooner we learn to live with it and
contain it, the safer .
The Respectable Prof Tom Ojienda reminds and
educates the Country Judicial System that,
embracing technology has more advantages,
since cases can be easily electronically be
searched, creating effective electronic court
diary, innovating electronic signatures for
orders to be served to respondents and
interested parties, case registrations and
exchange or serving of documents to various
parties with matters or proceedings before trial
Courts and expedition, resolutions of cases.
Kenyan Judiciary experiences major challenges
in embracing innovations due to the
fundings allocations which is a major hindrance
to technology change within the Justice System
as the Courts expected to resume partially on
Monday 15th June 2020 with strict adherence
to Health Measures .
